third public working meeting

The debate about access for producers to the artist social fund (in German: Künstlersozialkasse, short: KSK) has been going on for several years. With the founding of produktionsbande as a network of and for producers in the independent performing arts, the debate has taken on new relevance.

At the first public working meeting on this topic, it was decided that produktionsbande should become politically active for producers' access to the KSK. In preparation for the second public working meeting, we got in touch with stunt people who had successfully fought politically for their reintegration into the KSK catalog. In addition to this line of argumentation, we presented two further approaches to an argumentation at the second working meeting in order to discuss them together and feed them with our working realities.

We have developed an argumentation approach from the collected arguments and a document that we would like to present to you as a draft and discuss together. Since the first public working meeting, the active members of the produktionsbande AG KSK access for producers have been in close contact with a working group on access docked to the KSK Advisory Board, which will feed our argumentation paper into the Advisory Board's discussion on inclusion. The feedback from this KSK working group has been very positive so far.

With this in mind, we cordially invite you to a third public working meeting to collect feedback on the argumentation paper and to discuss further steps for the successful inclusion of producers in the KSK.

The event will be moderated by the working group members of produktionsbande: aliki schäfer, kaja jakstat, suse berthold, sofie luckhardt and martin bien.
