Aliki Schäfer first completed her acting studies at the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts in 2005. Her entry into production work began in 2008 through various activities in the field of festival organization in Berlin, Munich and Tel Aviv. From 2010 she was able to realize her first freelance works as a production manager in Berlin and Melbourne. In 2013 she returned to Stuttgart and was permanently at Theater Rampe as production manager and head of the artistic operations office until August 2015.
With the freelance production office schæfer&sœhne, which she founded in 2015 and has managed ever since, she accompanies festivals and freelance productions in the fields of performing arts and performance from the project idea to its realization and follow-up. Among them are also her own artistic projects, for whose conception and dramaturgy the producer and organizer Aliki Schäfer is responsible. As a cultural producer, Aliki Schäfer has been working increasingly in recent years as an idea generator, dramaturge and moderator at the interface between performing arts and pop culture.
In 2020, together with numerous colleagues, she initiated the network produktionsbande, of which she is also a member of the board, and was also active in 2022/23 on the board of the Landesverband Freie Tanz- und Theaterschaffende Baden-Württemberg.
