Epona Hamdan is a curator, producer, and researcher based in Berlin. Her work explores cultural and knowledge practices to create counter-publics and alternative spaces for discourse. She holds degrees in History and Culture of the Middle East, Theatre Studies, and English Philology from Freie Universität Berlin, as well as a specialization in Curation in Performing Arts from Paris-Lodron University Salzburg.

Grounded in intersectional, feminist, and anticolonial perspectives, Epona views art and culture as transformative spaces for organizing, healing, and imagining speculative futures.

She currently works as a Producer and Researcher at Haus der Kulturen der Welt (HKW) in the Science, Digital, and Media Practices department. Recently, she has developed programs for the Oktoberdans Festival in Bergen and the Free Home University in Lecce. Her previous collaborations include Spielart Theaterfestival, Rimini Protokoll, and Ballhaus Naunynstraße, among others.
