about the workshop

The session with Agnieszka is intended to provide a safer space for exchange, centering disabled and/or chronically ill producers and their perspectives.

The following topics will be discussed: What does it mean to work as a disabled and/or chronically ill person as a producer in the independent performing arts? How do other colleagues experience this? How do accessible working practices look like for disabled and/or chronically ill producers?

Producers often enable and hold spaces for other actors and their processes. Often working alone, they mediate between all artistic, creative-organizational, creative-technical and administrative participants. But what about their own needs and experiences? How can these be navigated? How can access practices be integrated into everyday working life?

Of course, you can also share your own topics and problems during the session and bring them along: What can mutual support look like? What needs and wishes are there for this exchange, such and similar spaces in general and especially in the context of produktionsbande?

barrier reduction

A longer break of 30 minutes is scheduled about halfway through the session. Additional breaks can be taken by mutual agreement. There will be a short round of introductions at the beginning. Contributions are welcome both verbally and in writing via the chat. Switching on the camera is optional. All levels of interaction are welcome in this session.
