Uta Lorenz (she/her) is an employee of the Landesverband Freier Theater in Niedersachsen (LaFT). There, she accompanies and advises artists and theater professionals in all matters concerning applications, project implementation and accounting. With the LaFT, she is building a network of producers and production managers in Lower Saxony. She is very interested in numbers, fair payment, taxes, paragraphs and likes to share her knowledge.
Before LaFT, she trained as a church painter, studied cultural studies and communication and media science at the University of Leipzig, was a production manager at the theater "Das Letzte Kleinod", managing director at Theaterhaus Hildesheim e. V. and project collaborator at LOT-Theater Braunschweig e. V.
She is a freelancer for Markus&Markus Theaterkollektiv and gives seminars and workshops on application writing together with colleagues.
Since 2022 she is part of the produktionsbande.
