about the workshop

Tech riders or technical riders are technical documentations that are sent to theaters and event spaces in advance in order to plan the setup together. In the workshop, we talk about what should be included for stage, lighting, video, sound and special effects. And what other different forms of technical documentation can be used to make our lives easier when setting up.

gefährliche arbeit

The workshop will be held by Anahí Pérez, Jones Seitz, Rosa Wernecke, who are party of the network Gefährliche Arbeit.

gefährliche arbeit (english: dangerous work) is a network of queer-feminist FLINTA+ theater makers who work behind, in front of and next to the stage between art and technology. This includes people who design and set up lighting, video and sound, make stage sets and costumes, set up and dismantle, plan and implement shows, program and run cues, think up theatrical effects, compose and mix music, take care of safety, etc. etc.
