Sasha Schlegel (sasha/they) works as a creative producer for the performing arts and dance in Berlin.
In collaboration with artists, Sasha supports production processes from conceptualisation and development to administrative and financial implementation and strategic planning. Since 2021, Sasha has been working with ausland on a range of workshops and residency programmes. From 2023 to 2025 Sasha has been part of the coordination team of produktionsbande as the person responsible for finance and administration.
In their work, Sasha understands networks not merely as a professional infrastructure, but as spaces for mutual support and collective agency, with the aim of shaping such structures in a way that challenges power dynamics, in order to provide a permanent space for diverse identities within the scene.
