about the workshop

Are your workdays getting longer while your body grows stiffer?
Did you even notice today that you were tired, hungry—or did you just push through and forget your body altogether?
No worries! Here comes your sweet physical reset:
A moment for your body to breathe, rebalance, and gently wake up again.
Producers Stretching invites you to bring mindful movement into your busy day.
In three simple phases, we build bridges between big responsibilities and aching backs, screen time and stiff necks—bringing a gentle flow into that constant “on-call” mode.
No prior movement experience needed!
You can do all exercises either seated or standing.
Expect easy routines focused on mobility, stability, and producer-friendly breath and body awareness—right when your afternoon slump hits.

We’ll start with a quick emoji check-in in the chat.
You’re welcome to contribute either by speaking or by writing in the chat.
All exercises will be explained clearly and can be done seated or standing. Everyone is encouraged to listen to their body and decide what feels right for them.
You can take breaks at any time, whenever you need to.
You don’t have to keep your camera on the whole time.

hosts

The workshop is co-concepted and hosted by Marja and olivia. Olivia and Marja share a passion for appreciative to-do-lists, producing in and with crip time and pose each other questions for nice and sometimes nerdy work and life realities.

about Marja:
I am Marja Christians (she/her), I sweat and research at the interface of production management and artistic work. I am enthusiastic about surprising rehearsal venues, funding tricks and power-critical working methods, throughout Germany and interlocally in France and Spain, with imaginative management and humor. I studied Cultural Management in the BA Cultural Studies and Aesthetic Practice at the University of Hildesheim and an International Master of Choreography with Bojana Kunst/University of Gießen. From 2012-2022 I worked as a co-production manager with Isabel Schwenk and, as a person with not visible disabilities, I try out well being in everyday working life: I am currently practicing breaks.
