mutual support session: disabled, chronically ill and/or neurodivergent producers
14:00 – 17:00
in German spoken language, contributions in English are welcome
about the workshop
The session with joelle and olivia is intended to be a safer space for exchange, centering disabled, chronically ill and/or neurodivergent producers and their perspectives.
Producers often enable and hold spaces for others and their processes. They frequently act as sole connectors between all artistic, creatively-organizational, creative-technical, and administrative stakeholders. But what about their own needs and experiences?
Together, we ask: What does it mean to work as a disabled, chronically ill and/or neurodivergent producer in the independent performing arts? What does an accessible working practice look like where we can take our own access needs seriously and center them? How can mutual support take shape?
Of course, participants are also welcome to bring and share their own topics and challenges during the session.
